Seven Basic Google Analytic Terminogy

Users 使用者進入網站的對象總數。所謂使用者,實際上真正追蹤的對象是瀏覽器。所以若是同一台電腦,有兩個不同的瀏覽器進入同一網站,將會被記錄成 2 個使用者。

Sessions 工作階段使用者在 (預設的) 30分鐘內於網站中所有持續的活動,算一次的工作階段。

Page Views 網頁瀏覽次數使用者進入網站後,每載入一網頁算一次瀏覽次數。

Pages/Session 每單一工作階段裡的網頁瀏覽次數

Ave Session Duration 每單一工作階段的平均時間 (分:秒)

 

Traffic Source/Medium 流量來源/媒介

  • Google / Organic 代表從Google搜尋引擎而進入網站的流量,消費者搜尋後,從搜尋結果中點擊進入網站。
  • Direct / None 代表直接輸入網址或是從我的最愛書籤進來。
  • m.facebook.com/referral 代表從手機版的facebook的連結進入網站。
  • taiwannews.com.tw/referral 代表從taiwannews.com.tw的連結進入網站
  • google/cpc 代表由Google Ads 關鍵字廣告所導入的流量。
  • facebook.com/referral 代表從電腦版facebook的連結連進來。

Install Google Analytics Tracking Code to GeneratePress Theme

複習這個教學影片,再裝Google Analytics是很簡單的!

步驟一:先到Google Analytics 取得Tracking Code
  Log in to Google Analytics > Admin > Property > Tracking Info > Tracking Code > Copy the tracking code

步驟二:將Tracking Code貼到網站
  Appearance > GP Hooks > Paste the tracking code in wp_head section > Save Hooks

這樣就大功告成了,再回到Google Analytics的Real Time > Overview 可以看到自己正在線上呦!

Install Google Analytics Tracking Code to Astra Theme

步驟一:Appearance > 確定 Custom Layout 已 Activated

步驟二:將Tracking Code貼到網站
  Appearance > Custom Layouts > Add New > Enable Code Editor > Paste the Tracking Code

步驟三:

  • Layout > Hooks
  • Action > wp_head
  • Display on > Entire Website
  • Published

若換 Theme或更新Theme,要檢查Tracking Code 還在不在!

Adam建議用Plugin來安裝GA code,他建議的是:Analytify – Google Analytics Dashboard Plugin for WordPress by Analytify 。不是大咖的外掛,只有10,000+安裝者。Beautiful Dashboard, Adam said.

  • Unit 1: Starting out with Google Tag Manager (10:00am – 11:33am)
    1. Lesson 1: Course Introduction (2:37)
